Over 60 performers from across Canada and the UK will rock our socks off at the Heritage Hall (Oct. 11,12 &13), the Wise Hall (Oct. 14), and the Vancouver East Cultural Centre (Oct. 15) and the downtown campus of Vancouver Community College (daily Oct. 12-14).
Artists performing include Sheri-D Wilson, Dwayne Morgan, T.O.F.U., Joe Keithley; The Minimalist Jug Band, Steve Larkin, Kat Francois, Hilary Peach, AF Harrold, Rob Gee, T.U.G.G.S.t.a.r., Martin van Steinburg, Justin McGrail, SR Duncan and Michelle Hersey, Alexis O’Hara, Maink, OS12, Kevin MacKenzie, Ivan E. Coyote, The Svelte Ms. Spelt, TL Cowan, Lisa B., Kagan Goh, Jen Lam, David Silverberg, Jake Depeuter, Darek Dawda, Ritallin the Cerebral Stimulant, The Liars of Orpheus and more!

The Canadian Festival of Spoken Word is a national performance poetry event with artists traveling cross-country (and even from Europe) to, among other things, compete in the Canadian Spoken Wordlympics, for the title of Heavyweight champion of the Word and the coveted “Flaming Mic” award!
Over 60 performers from across Canada, the UK and the US will be at the Heritage Hall, Wise Hall, the East Vancouver Cultural Centre, and the downtown campus of Vancouver Community College, including: Mayor Larry Campbell, Sheri-D Wilson, Dwayne Morgan, TOFU, Joey “Shithead” Keithley and the Minimalist Jug Band.
